Dana took care of the watering this evening. The burnt spots may have to wait until august. Ug!

As soon as I got up this morning I went out and got the water rolling. It’s supposed to be a high in the low 90s today. Humidity was at about 60% this morning and the grass was dew saturated but the ground was relatively dry so I went ahead with the watering.

Dana took care of the evening watering. We’re hoping to get the yellowing and browning to return to green.

When I woke up today I went out and watered. Yesterday was milder than expected but still got into the high 70s low 80s. Today is supposed to be low 80s and sunny. We still have some burn spots on the lawn. I think when we were in Los Angeles the lawn either wasn’t watered or wasn’t watered enough and just hasn’t recovered from that. I also think, despite contrary advice from numerous sources, we should have fertilized. Perhaps it’s not too late. I’ll have to check in to that.

When I woke up this morning it looked a bit dark outside. It sort of looked like it was going to rain but this is Colorado where it doesn’t. I got the sprinklers going. It’s supposed to be in the 80s today.

When I woke up this morning I got the watering going. It’s supposed to be a little cooler today — low to mid 80s. I also watered the plants around the tree.

I started the watering, Dana switched it in the middle and I finished it off this evening. We spent the day in Fort Collins at the Horsetooth Reservoir and it was in the 90s today. (While at the reservoir I accidentally had the camera in my pocket when I went into the water so it may be a while before there are more pictures.) As we were leaving Fort Collins it started to rain but there was no sign our lawn got any water. Our lawn looks yellow again. I think we need to switch back to twice a day.

Dana took care of the watering this evening. We decided to switch to only one watering per day. It was in the 90s today. It was supposed to rain (again) and while it might have drizzled it didn’t really rain here.

When I got up this morning I watered the flowers under the tree and the yard. It looks like it is supposed to be in the high 80s today with a chance of rain (though there has been a chance for storm for a number of days and it has been fruitless). Oh well.
