Watering

We returned from L.A. today and it was in the 90s. When the sun started to set I went out and ran the sprinkler. I also pulled some massive mushrooms. Check the photo page for the images of the shrooms and the progress on the flowers planted around the tree out front.

As soon as I finished mowing Dana ran the sprinkler in front. She also made a point of using the sprayer to water the plants around the base of the tree. They seem to be taking root.

When I got home this evening I decided to mow the front grass. It was starting to look a little scruffy.

Again no sign overnight that it rained. If it did I couldn’t tell. As soon as I woke up this morning I went out and watered. It’s supposed to be in the 90s today and again there is a prediction that it will rain.

We missed the evening watering last night. It was supposed to rain but there was no sign of it this morning. As soon as I woke up this morning I went out and immediately got the sprinklers going. Forecast still calls for a chance of storms today with a high in the high 70s low [...]

Shortly after getting home last night I did the watering. I’m a touch concerned that we have a couple of bald/burnt spots.

When I woke up this morning I got the sprinklers going out front. It’s supposed to be in the low to mid 80s today, sunny with less or no wind (unlike yesterday’s high winds).
