Watering
Dana came home midday to do some watering. With the progress on the yard it is easier to find motivation to keep up the watering.
Watering
We had the day off yesterday due to rain and low temperatures. No such luck today. It’s going to be mid 70’s and sunny today. I got up and went right to watering.
Rain
Looks like we may get the day off from watering. It appears to have rained overnight and it is expected to continue raining during the day today. It’s going to be in the low 60s and was in the 40s overnight so evaporation won’t factor in much to today’s watering.
Rain
After 10 days of nothing it finally rained! Saves us the afternoon watering and gives the lawn a bit of the natural stuff. Finally!
Watering
It was chilly and gray today so I held off watering. I ran the sprinkler just now. Looks like our efforts are starting to pay off.
Growth!!!
Looks like we’ve got real growth. There are sprouts popping up everywhere. Check out the photo page.
Watering
Dana started the midday sprinklers and I finished them off. It’s supposed to be mid 60’s tomorrow and there are storms predicted so maybe we’ll be able to skip watering tomorrow. We’ll see.
Watering
I managed to sleep in a bit this morning. As soon as I did get up I went out to run the sprinkler. Still waiting for the patch-filling green. Ug.
Watering
Dana took care of the midafternoon watering. We decided because it wasn’t very hot today (low 70s) we could get away with only two waterings. Wouldn’t it be great if grass grew like playdough through a mold? Push down a lever-up comes grass. Wed could even have it in multiple colors and when we moved we could instantly put it back into the form and get it ready for next time. Oh well… guess we just have to keep waiting.
