I wasn’t able to water yesterday morning because I had to leave so early. Fortunately it rained yesterday evening and in to this morning. Thanks mother nature.

Watering
Dana needs to leave early again this morning so watering is again 15 minutes per part. I had heard there was a chance of rain over night but there was no sign of any moisture this morning. Oh well.
Watering
It’s supposed to be a touch cooler than yesterday but still sunny and warm. Did the morning watering as soon as I woke up. Because Dana needs to leave earlier than normal I compressed the timing of the watering to 15 minutes per part.
Watering
It’s supposed to be in the mid 80s today. When I woke up I didn’t find any signs of overnight rain. I immediately put out the sprinkler for the usual morning watering. 20 minutes per section.
Watering
When I came home this evening it was obvious that Mile Hi had returned. They were supposed to come back and do another round of overseeding. Instead, it appears they did another round of everything. I don’t know if they spread seed but I don’t really care at this point. Either they did or they didn’t. Either something grows or it doesn’t. Just in case what they did was helpful, Dana did some watering. I may go out there at some point soon and do a bit of raking and put down my own seed (especially in the really bald spots. I’ve still got some seed left from last year’s seeding. It’s supposed to possibly rain over night tonight. One can only hope.
Watering
I woke up this morning and decided to do some watering. There was considerable dew on the grass but I don’t think it rained recently. We have Mile Hi coming sometime today and it is not supposed to be a rainy day so I decided it was a good idea to run the water a bit (the usual 20 minutes per section).
Drizzle
Mid-mow it started to drizzle. It wasn’t much while I was mowing but shortly after I finished it turned into a very short rain.
Mowing
The grass is finally dry enough that I can mow. It appeared to us that Mile Hi Aeration may have aerated but it we couldn’t find any sign of seeding on our lawn so they are coming back tomorrow sometime (supposedly) to seed again. I decided that it was important to get out the mower (finally broke down and bought one–got a great deal too–and now I don’t have to mooch off the neighbors every time I need to mow) and give the yard a trim. Even though there are still bald spots (which will hopefully be taken care of by Mile Hi’s seeding) the yard is starting to look greener. We’ll see.
Rain
When I woke up this morning is was still drizzling but it was also clear that the rain overnight was strong enough that there was no need to water this morning.
Rain
Looks like this may be the real thing this time. It’s actually raining. Still not very hard rain but enough that windshield wipers are required.
