Though it wasn’t much, it did rain a bit this afternoon. I think I’m going to skip tomorrow morning’s watering.
Even though I watered this morning, it’s raining this evening. Oh well–guess a little bit extra can’t hurt. What a weird Denver-July this has been!
I got the new sprinkler installed. It’s nothing special but it should do what I want. I had a little bit of trouble getting it working at first (what a surprise… I hate this things!) but after playing with it for a few minutes I was able to get it working. 20-minutes per side and […]
Before leaving for the weekend I brought the basil in and watered it. I pinched off a few flowers that were growing on it. I hope it does well while we’re away. I also hope it rains or at least isn’t too hot so our grass is still green when we return. Not sure when […]

When I came home from work today I found that someone has vandalized my sprinkler. It wasn’t the best sprinkler in the world but someone clearly came onto my property and broke it. It looks like someone snapped it clean in half. They also moved the hose. It almost looks like they didn’t like the […]
Looks like nature took care of the watering for me. Nice to get to skip watering tomorrow.
I found, after a quick search of the net, that Basil plants watered once a week thrive. Further, that basil plants like a lot of sun. After I purchased my basil plants and potted them in the potter Dana bought for my birthday a year ago, I figured water them once a week and put […]« Previous Entries
